Join me as I work my way through feeding my fiancé. From my favorite recipes to the completely strange that I’ve found in recipe books from the 80’s… I can’t wait to try them with you.

I’m a pushing 30 urban professional in finance, an amateur at home chef, and an average homemaker at best. I LOVE to cook, and working from home has given me the freedom to try pesky recipes that normally take way too long to try on a given weeknight. I’m obsessed with my loft apartment’s aesthetic, although it’s usually messy.

I’m NO professional cook, so admittedly some of my attempts are flops. Follow along as I try to find recipes that both my fiancé and I find to be delicious. This journey will be imperfectly perfect and hopefully lots of fun.

For added fun, my fiancé is one of those people who is always struggling to gain weight… and I’m well, not. Must be nice for him! Whether you have a partner like this who can eat ANYTHING, or whether you’re cooking for a parent or child who seems to have a bottomless pit for a stomach - see how I balance this situation in my own home.

My nana is really the inspiration for this pet project. She loved to cook for her big Greek family, and still has the best Lemon Greek Soup. Hearing about my new favorite hobby, she recently gave me five of her old cookbooks. I can’t thank her enough - so this is for her!

I promise to get better at taking pictures.
